2005 DOMAINE TROUVÉRE “DUNDEE HILLS PINOT NOIR”
With just under 3 barrels of this Pinot noir produced in 2005 we can assure you that the utmost care and attention went into the making of this micro-lot of Pinot noir from the Dundee Hills AVA. 2007 DOMAINE TROUVÉRE TEMPRANILLO, UMPQUA VALLEY
While tasting Tempranillo from Spain, winemaker Don Lange became convinced that this grape varietal was perfectly suited to Oregon. Fortunately, winegrowers in the Umpqua Valley agreed, and we were able to secure our sources and begin producing small lots of this noble varietal. Aged in French and American oak barrels, this robust yet refined wine is a fabulous complement to any meal.

2009 DOMAINE TROUVÉRE “INDIGENE”, DUNDEE HILLS

This beautiful white wine is produced from a mutation of Pinot Gris. In noticing vastly different ripening in a vineyard block, we isolated the canes, propagated them, and planted three rows in our vineyard. [If you're familiar with Pinot Pierre, folks, this is it!]
This wine is completely different from anything we’ve ever tasted. It displays grapefruit and lime in the bouquet followed by a racy minerality. On the palate it is multi-layered, rich and complex. Everyone here at the estate is extremely enthusiastic about this wine made from a new grape of noble, ancient, Burgundian heritage, but ultimately indigenous to Oregon’s Dundee Hills. We christened it “Indigene.”

2008 DOMAINE TROUVÉRE SYRAH, UMPQUA VALLEY
A desire to explore the vineyards and varietals of Oregon led winemaker, Don Lange, to Southern Oregon’s Umpqua Valley — where both Tempranillo and Syrah grow well.
This Syrah is an elegant example of the varietal, with luscious plum, blueberry compote, tobacco leaf, and white pepper notes. Ample fruit is tempered by fine structure and tannin. If you appreciate the nuance and complexity of Pinot Noir, we invite you to try this Syrah.
